Wedron Flux

wedronflux Wedron Flux is the aluminum casting industry’s single source for systems and products that help improve overall melt quality. Since inception, Wedron Flux has proven to be a pioneer in the development of systems and products that greatly contribute to improving overall melt quality in many different casting operations.

In the early 1990’s, Wedron Flux began developing a variety of specially formulated fluxes, designed around alloy and temperature use, to eliminate impurities and improve the quality of castings for the aluminum casting industry. Later, Wedron Flux introduced the Flux Injection process and Flux Injection Machines, which are designed to inject flux directly into the molten metal bath of the furnace.

Recently, Wedron Flux has combined the Flux Injection process with inert rotary degassing to create the “Rotaflux” system. The “Rotaflux” system leads to extremely short degassing treatment times, more intensely cleaned aluminum, reduced flux use and the reduction of metallic content in the dross. The “Rotaflux” system is custom designed and built to meet customer specifications.
